Audrey Hepburn


Acclaimed  actress, humanitarian and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn was born in 1929 in Belgium and grew up in the Netherlands, but moved to London to train in ballet. In London she was also a model. She starred in several European films before her big break in Gigi(1951). After Gigi, came Roman Holiday, Sabrina , and Breakfast at Tiffany's, as well as many others .Thus, Hepburn became the "it" girl of her time. She enabled women to show confidence as well as elegance in their style. In the 1950's Hepburn wore classy black dresses, dark colors, flats, and big sunglasses which are now part of almost every girls wardrobe.
